Disguised as a man, Chizurz Yukimura searches Kyoto for her missing father, a doctor who's found a magical elixir that increases a person's speed, strength, and healing abilities. However she stumbles into a battle between the Shinsengumi and the mysterious vampire-like Furies. The Shisengumi are also searching for her father and - discovering her true identity - take her into custody for safekeeping, as the situation in Kyoto soon becomes even deadlier.
