As a samurai, Manji was bound in service to an evil lord, but choosing humanity over duty he killed the lord. Manji was then forced to kill 100 honest men who made the opposite choice. Having no future but death, he was granted eternal life by a strange mystic. After tragedy strikes Manji again, he’s driven to end his curse by seeking the gift of death.
